Modern Slavery Policy

Silver Agency is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically and with respect for human rights. We have zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, bonded labour, servitude or exploitation in any form.

As a Certified B Corporation, we believe business should be a force for good. Our commitment to social responsibility, ethical business practices and positive impact is central to how we operate and the relationships we build.

This policy applies to Silver’s operations in the United Kingdom and the United States of America, including our employees, contractors freelancers, suppliers, business partners and third parties working with or on behalf of Silver Ltd and Silver Inc.

• Never using or supporting forced, bonded, indentured or involuntary labour.  
• Respecting the rights, dignity, and freedom of everyone who works for or with Silver. 

• Providing a safe, inclusive and respectful working environment. 

• Complying with applicable employment, labour, and human rights laws in the United Kingdom and the United States of America.  

• Acting responsibly when selecting and working with suppliers, freelancers, contractors and other partners. 

• Taking reasonable, proportionate steps to identify and address risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chain.  

• Raising awareness of modern slavery and encouraging our people and partners to speak up if they have concerns. 

• Taking appropriate action where we identify behaviour or practices that are inconsistent with this policy.  

Silver does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, exploitation, retaliation or unfair treatment.

We aim to create an environment where people are treated fairly, have appropriate employment rights, and are able to raise concerns without fear of retaliation.

We expect everyone working at Silver and with Silver to uphold these principles and to treat colleagues, clients, suppliers and partners with respect.  

We recognise that modern slavery and human trafficking risks can exist within wider supply chains, even where they are not directly visible to us.

We therefore expect our suppliers, contractors, freelancers, and business partners to share our commitment to ethical and responsible business practices and to comply with applicable laws relating to employment, labour, human rights, modern slavery and human trafficking.

Where appropriate, we may consider these principles when selecting or reviewing suppliers and partners. If concerns arise, we will seek to understand the circumstances and take proportionate action, which may include requiring improvements, suspending work or ending a relationship where serious breaches are identified.

We encourage anyone working for or with Silver to raise concerns if they believe modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking or exploitation may be taking place within our business or the Silver supply chain.

Concerns can be raised with a member of the Silver leadership team. We will take concerns seriously, investigate them appropriately and seek to protect anyone who raises a genuine concern from retaliation.

Where appropriate, concerns may also be reported to relevant authorities or law enforcement agencies in the United Kingdom or the United States of America.

Silver is committed to complying with applicable laws and regulations relating to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and worker protection in the jurisdictions where we operate.

This includes relevant requirements under applicable United Kingdom legislation, including Modern Slavery Act 2015, and applicable United States of America federal and state laws relating to human trafficking, forced labour and labour protections.

Our B Corp certification reflects our broader commitment to using business as a force for good and continually improving our impact on our people, communities and wider stakeholders.

We recognise that responsible business is an ongoing journey. We will continue to review our policies, practices, and relationships to identify opportunities to strengthen our approach to human rights and ethical business.

Overall responsibility for this policy sits within the Silver executive leadership team.

This policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure it remains relevant to our business, our people and our responsibilities in the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
