Born from a love of photography.
Graham Dodridge and Silver has partnered with photographer Remy Whiting to form www.snap.foundation.
Snap runs 5 week long photographic projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. From Lubumbashi in the southeastern part of Democratic Republic of the Congo to Kwide near Port Elizabeth in South Africa. We bring incredible volunteer photographic students from around the world to teach their skills and to inspire a generation of underprivileged children. Many children have never held a camera, let alone own a single photograph of themselves – something we all take for granted.
Silver runs two projects a year. The missives written by James Purdy from Maine in the USA and Amy Jane-Davies from the UK express an incredible emotion that will lift you up. These life changing experiences were reflective of Yifan from China as well as Natasha and Katharine from the UK and give absolute credence to our beliefs in the value of Snap.
Silver runs an annual charity fund raising Snap event ‘Picture Your World’ and donates a proportion of profits to Snap.
Silver also supports Malaika and The Imps Motorcycle Display, a Children’s charity in the East End of London, through the provision of brand and marketing support as well as financial – a partnership of ten years standing.
To all of the wonderful people we have met on our journey – we salute you.
