Our mission was to engage and excite wholesale customers about Telefonica’s LTE Diameter Exchange service, conveying the offering as a seamless and global end-to-end service. Being a dry, detailed subject it was important that we grabbed the viewer’s attention and put Telefonica at front-of-mind, whilst highlighting the main messages.
The challenge was to tell the proposal as an end-user story, contextualised from a customer perspective. Describing the mobile broadband reality and new challenges for operators, presenting the benefits of the solution and ending with the Telefonica LTE Value proposition.
Our ultimate objective was to generate leads through increasing awareness of Telefonica’s LTE value proposition.
The creative concept that Silver developed is entitled ‘Your World Smaller.’ We created an engaging, innovative theme of a football freestyler, performing impressive tricks against a black backdrop. We edited and transformed the football into a glowing 3D globe, to serve as a visual metaphor for bringing your world closer and maintaining control through LTE Diameter Exchange. The creative concept is very visual and the freestyle footballer is a concept that appeals to any demographic. Once the viewer’s attention is held, the key benefits and messages are narrated through a compelling voice-over narrative, and reinforced with engaging animated graphics.
The video has taken the messaging to a new level and positioned Telefonica as a global player. The video attracted 200+ views in its first week on YouTube, which is more than 50% of the average for a Telefonica Global Solutions video over a 12-month period.
