With small businesses spending as much as 20% of their week on basic administration, they need support to help them to get on with running and growing their business. The KPMG Small Business Accounting service provides a dedicated Accountant, Bookkeeper and Finance Director, all rolled into one.
Silver helped with the relaunch of the Small Business Accounting brand by creating a story that small businesses can identify with, setting the brand apart from the competition and positioning KPMG Small Business Accounting as the de facto choice for small business accountancy services.
The strength of the KPMG brand was also an achilles heel when trying to establish a meaningful conversation with small business owners, who felt working with a large organisation would prove to be expensive and impersonal .
Through putting small business owners at the heart of the brand along with a strong visual style, photography and friendly, confident and no-nonsense tone of voice; a delicate balance is achieved in retaining the credibility from the well established parent company whilst making KPMG Small Business Accounting relevant and approachable.
Silver’s rebrand has resulted in a standout and contemporary new brand for KPMG aimed at small businesses. Alongside brand guidelines, photography, client story videos and a new website, the team created an
through-the-line brand launch campaign and lead generation toolkit, which has resulted in a 100% increase in new business, a 100% increase of inbound leads, and a 16% increase in organic searches in January 2016.
1. Target Audience
Small businesses who are looking to spend less time doing their admin and finances, and more time focusing on the running of their business.
2. Campaign Timescale
We partnered with KPMG in July 2015 and the rebrand was completed by the end of August, with ongoing client videos, website build and a launch campaign to follow in December.
A contemporary new brand with a range of assets to help drive and grow business, which has already seen a 100% increase in new business and inbound leads.
More about KPMG SBA
A Big Four accounting firm in London, working for small businesses nationwide, KPMG SBA believe that Britain’s small businesses deserve better from their accountants. Accountants in London and all over the country should be doing much more than just filling in tax returns: they should be offering insights in all kinds of business-critical areas, from working out cash flow to generating management reports and advising on sources of finance. KPMG SBA think that small businesses should be given this level of support as part of their flat fee, without being hit with huge additional bills. With KPMG’s new, fixed-fee Small Business Accounting, they’re providing just this kind of service.
