I’ve spent the better part of a morning trawling through this year’s offerings to share with you my top 5 Christmas ads of 2018. Enjoy!

There are a few returns this year: Amazon singing boxes, Heathrow Bears, and of course the Coke lorry – but the return of Kevin the Carrot is the best of the bunch.
The ad cemented its inclusion on my list with the line describing the wicked parsnip as “the root of all evil.” I’m a sucker for a pun.
Turkey is the outright bird of choice for Christmas, but KFC reminds us who the hero is for the rest of the year with their Western-inspired epic.
Sorry John Lewis, but Waitrose wins Christmas this year. They’ve struck the perfect balance of poking fun at their sister company and promoting their Christmas selection without forcing it down our throats.
This may have made the cut… if John Lewis hadn’t pipped them to the same concept a couple of months ago with their Partners ad. A special shout-out to the kid dressed as a plug… imagine being the parents and having to put that costume together!
Leave a snack for Santa, but be sure to remember the reindeer, too!
