We caught up with international brand man and our CEO Graham Dodridge.

He founded B2B leviathan Gyro in London in 1991. He then progressed on to his latest brand and marketing agency Silver, based in London and Cheltenham, as well as finding the time to launch an FMCG milk drink brand called Bam.

Graham’s mantra is that no amount of business planning and clever ideas will replace your hard work, commitment and personal desire to realise success. Following a moment of confusion and self-doubt, his mother sent him a note quoting the round the world yachtsman, Pete Goss in his book ‘Close to the wind’.

And the note simply read “Nothing in the world will take the place of persistence – talent will not. Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Education will not, the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”

“I keep this note with me always and it reminds me to stick with it, do the best I can do, every minute of every day’, Graham said.
